neescoverfront.jpgI am involved in many projects and most recently one that is particularly dear to my heart and musical soul, is the release of the much-anticipated Nees and Vos “Extended Play”! There are so many fabulous musicians from across the country on this album, including Dave Cooley of Citizen King fame, who also recently produced the latest release from The Silversun Pickups. Also Mike Moor, who’s worked with just about every Brit band of the 60s and 70s-including The Rolling Stones! Trombonist Wycliffe Gordon makes an appearance as well, and yours truly! Like RJD2 backing the Black Crowes or even Lenny Kravitz playing the blues (if he actually had some soul) with a killer horn section, Nees and Vos make music that is perfect for chillin’ out and having a good time. Every song on the EP is good and I guarantee that you’ll be tapping your toes or nodding your head before its all over.
